Orr Street Studios COVID-19 Policies for Tenants and Residents

-Orr Street Studios is open to the public during our normal business hours. We do require masks for visitors to the studio and for artists in public spaces.

-If you do not feel well, please stay home.

-When entering or exiting the building, or while in the common areas, resident artists must wear a mask.  While in your studio, you do not need to wear a mask.

-Artists may receive up to 2 visitors at a time to their studios.  Artists should meet visitors at the entrance closest to their studio and accompany guests directly to their studio.  When the artist and guest are finished with their meeting, the artist should accompany the guest to the nearest exit.  Guests must wear a mask in the common area.  So, please be ready to remind a visitor that they must put on a mask before entering the building and then before exiting your studio to leave.

-If you bring any children or immediate family members to Orr Street, they must remain in your studio with you.  They must wear a mask when entering or exiting the building, or walking through the common area to the restroom.  Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

-Maintain a distance of 6 feet from other artists at all times.  Touch as little as possible in the common areas.  Wash hands often.

-If you have a studio mate, please have open communication regarding your comfort level on issues like working in the studio together or in staggered shifts, whether or not you should both wear masks if working in the studio together, etc.  If you do not think you can start this conversation with your studio mate, I am happy to help!

-Keep lines of communication open between yourself and others.  Each person will have a different preference on physical distancing.  So, ask before approaching another artist.

-Orr Street will not be hosting event rentals for the time being.
