seeing visions

Seeing Visions: Discuss art
Artists discuss methods, mediums, and inspirations.

Following the format of Orr Street's successful literary series Hearing Voices, Mike Sleadd welcomes visual artists to a series of conversations examining artistic endeavor and the realm of creativity. Each night will feature two artists, four pieces of work and three questions:
What was the inspiration? What was the process? and Why does it matter?

hearing voices

Hearing Voices: Local Authors read their work
Writers reading and discussing their work in an informal salon style setting.

Orr Street Studios long-running weekly series, Hearing Voices returns with the best fiction, poetry, essays, creative nonfiction and
playwriting coming out of Missouri.

We invite you to enjoy an evening with writers in an intimate, art-filled setting and join in on the informal Q & A session following each reading. Whether you are a novice or expert in the literary world, this is your invitation to participate in our creative community.

Thanks to all of the artists and audience members
who participate in these discussions and add an intriguing and educational aspect to the experience at Orr Street Studios.

Seeing Visions and Hearing Voices are free and open to the public;
wine and snacks are available for a nominal donation to the Orr Street Artists' Guild.

Come take part in Orr Street Studios' latest experiment in creative community!
